A 23 year old man who was accused of killing five women and a three months old baby has been charged with murder in Uganda.
Musa Musasizi Nakulabye in Kampala was arraigned arraigned before Mwanga II magistrate’s court and charged with six counts of murder before he was remanded to Kitalya prison until April 12, 2021 when he will be brought back to court for further mention of the case.
According to the prosecution led by Emily Ninsima said that Musasizi murderd one Noreen Nabirye in mujomba zone, Nakulabye in Kampala district on March 14,2021.
One day later, Musasizi is said to have murded Elizabeth Mutesi. Musasizi is also being accused of killing Violet Kansiime and Abigail Nakitende on March 12,2021.
In a separate case, Musasizi is jointly charged with 23-year-old boda boda rider, Abdul Kasaija, a resident of Mapera zone, Lussaze in Rubaga division with the murder of Mackline Ahereza on February 22, 2021.
Musasizi was arrested on March 25, 2021 by the militarys in jointly with Ugandan police. According to the police report, the accused is said to have raped all the victims before killing them using a blunt object or strangling.
Musasizi confessed all the above cases adding to one Ahereza whom he says he killed her after finding out that she had another boyfriend. Musasizi revealed that he strangled Kansiime’s three-month-old baby after burning her body.
