Atalanta players woken up by guns alarm ahead of kick-off with Manchester United at Old Trafford

Atalanta players have reportedly said that they were woken up six time due to gun fires in their team hotel a day before their kick-off with Manchester United in the Champions League.

According to one guest on the hotel, there was alarms could be heard in the early hours of Wednesday at 04:51, 05:00, 05:36, 06:11, 06:31 and 07:13 AM at The Edwardian Manchester hotel.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions with the wife to Roksana Malinovskiy saying that the club will return the same kind of alarm in their second tie back in Italy.

The incident could raise alarm of security Just like last season’s fixture between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford where fans stormed Old Trafford.
