Manchester City have added the UEFA Super Cup to their growing collection of trophies after beating Sevilla on penalties.
The reigning European champions took on the habitual Europa League winners on a scorching evening in Athens as they attempted to secure yet another trophy.
All did not immediately go to plan as Youssef En-Nesyri opened the scoring midway through the first half with a lethal header.
The Moroccan continued to be a threat throughout the game but failed to double his tally before Cole Palmer equalised for City. Neither side were were able to find a route through, with the game decided from the penalty spot.
All of the penalties were perfect until Nemanja Gudelj stepped up and thundered his effort off of the crossbar, triggering yet more celebrations from City.
