French Ligue 1 outfits Paris Saint Germain are not yet done with the transfer market following their recent interest in French central Midfielder Paul Pogba.

According to reports in France, the 28-year-old is close to agreeing personal terms with the French giants, who want to make him their marquee signing this summer. If the report is true, the two clubs will still need to find an agreement on a transfer fee.

PSG are growing in confidence of being able to sign Pogba for just £43million, just shy of £50m less than United signed him from Juventus in 2016. Pogba has just one year left on his current deal with the premier league most successful club.

Else where, Everton has completed the signing of England winger Andros Townsend on a free transfer from crystal palace. Townsend reunites with manager Rafa Benitez, who he played under at Newcastle, and told the club’s website: “I think everyone knows what Everton is. It’s a massive football club, it’s very ambitious, a club which has been trying to get back to where it belongs into Europe and beyond.

Tottenham are close to finalising a swap deal with Sevilla that will see them sign young winger Bryan Gil and Erik Lamela move to Spain. Gil did not make the Spain squad for the Euros but is considered a rising star in the country, with four goals and three assists in La Liga last season.

Manchester United and AC Milan have resumed talks about portuguese defender Diogo Dalot. The italian outfits are confident of finalising a deal before the end of the transfer window.
